Anna's Family

A narrative genealogical story of the family of Anna B. Carlson Grady. Anna's Family blends the story of John Carlson, Anna Grady's Swedish immigrant father, and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Schrock, Anna's Amish-Mennonite mother. Set primarily in the Fish Lake community of Eden Township in LaGrange County and Clinton Township in Elkhart County, the story weaves through the interrelated lives of the early settlers of this tightly knit community. Local families with ancestral names of Schrock, McKibbin, Poyser, Grady, Troyer, Haglind, Immel, Elderidge, and numerous others will find many stories and references to their ancestors in the book.
